A yet to be identified man on Monday successfully traded a 15-year old boy, Seun Aderinwale, for two bags of rice valued at N20,000 at Igando in Alimosho area of Lagos State, southwest Nigeria. According to eyewitness account, the man, whose address is unknown, went to 4, Ifesowapo Street, Igando, on Monday morning to buy two bags of rice from a shop owned by a woman identified as Iya Ibrahim.

50-year-old Pastor Dike Ocha of the Assemblies of God Church in Kankia Local Government Area of Katsina State was beaten and burnt to death by a mob last Tuesday after the mutilated body of a six-year-old girl was found beside his house. The girl, Fatima Yusuf, had been missing for four days. Narrating her story, wife of the deceased Mrs. Favour Ocha said: “I teach in a private school owned by the chief of Igbo in the area. I was with his wife when he called her on phone asking where I was. She told him we were together. Then he asked her to tell me not go to my house. He said my husband had called him on phone asking him to come immediately, that he was being stoned by some people.”

17-Year-Old Inspiring 300-Level Bowen Student, Opeyemi Odusanya Brutally Stabbed To Death With Intestines Ripped Out By Suspected Cultist, For Rejecting Sexual Advances (PHOTOS).

The life of a 17-year-old student of Bowen University, Opeyemi Odusanya, has been cut short by some cult members in Lagos. It was gathered that the undergraduate was murdered for allegedly rejecting sexual advances from some youths in the area and also for “being too proud.” PUNCH Metro learnt that the victim was a 300 level student of Biochemistry at the university. Police authorities told our correspondent that Opeyemi was stabbed to death by the cultists at her parents’ house in the Alakuko area of Lagos on February 3, 2014.
