JAMB Enugu zonal office in manhunt for impersonator
Enugu—THE Enugu zonal office of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has raised alarm over alleged impersonator, claiming to be a JAMB staff found to be going round deceiving school authorities and parents.
Zonal Co-ordinator, Mr. Charles Nwaogaraku, in a statement in Enugu said "the attention of this office has been drawn to the activities of some desperate touts and especially one Hon. Stanley who claimed that he is a JAMB staff, who has been visiting schools in the Sate to inform them that the current students in SS 3 students who are preparing to write their SSCE and NECO are not qualified to apply.,
"This is falsehood in its most naked form. School heads, teachers and parents should handover such pretenders to the police or call JAMB zonal coordinator.
"All candidates in their final years in the secondary schools and those who have left college and have interest are free to apply".
He also said the Board "has introduced a new policy for e-registration of candidates for the 2015 CBT examinations nationwide. Under this new policy business centres and cyber cafes are not registered and therefore not authorized to conduct this exercise for candidates.
